Fleet expanded

We are becoming more e-mobile! RUHE fleet expanded by five new e-vehicles

The RUHE group of companies is accelerating its journey into the electro-mobile future! No fewer than five brand-new Mercedes EQA250 e-vehicles are parked on the farm of the agricultural and biogas company based in Lüsche and other locations throughout northern Germany.

Own charging stations at all locations

As a result, employees are now on the road even more energy-efficiently and sustainably. The electric motor produces 140 kW, which corresponds to around 190 classic horsepower. With a battery capacity of 66.5 kWh, the latest generation of electric vehicles can travel more than 400 kilometers, so there is no threat of forced stops on the way to customers and business partners. The nearest charging station is never far away. Because the RUHE Group demonstrated foresight when it began investing in a charging infrastructure at all of its sites years ago.

Setting measurable signs

With the expansion of the E-fleet, RUHE is again sending a clear signal for climate protection. And in a very practical and measurable way, as a comparison shows: Today, a combustion engine emits an average of 118.5 grams of CO2 per kilometer. With a mileage of 20,000 kilometers per year, each e-vehicle can save 2.37 tons of CO2. For the five new Stromers, the savings add up to 11.85 metric tons. This is how sustainable mobility works in agriculture.
